This set of 4 x 0.060″ rocker stand shims is designed to fit all Volkswagen Type 1 aircooled engines, allowing you to correct rocker arm geometry by spacing out the rocker shaft assemblies on each cylinder head. These shims are essential when using aftermarket camshafts, modified pushrods, or performance cylinder heads, helping to maintain optimal valve train alignment and performance.
Each shim measures 0.060 inches (approximately 1.52mm) thick, providing the precise spacing needed to adjust rocker arm angle and ensure proper valve lift and timing. Incorrect geometry can lead to premature valve wear, poor performance, and increased engine noise, so these shims are a simple yet effective way to dial in your valve train setup.
Made from durable, precision-stamped steel for long-lasting use, this set of four is enough for one complete engine—two shims per cylinder head (one per rocker shaft).
