Replacement steel sump plug with external hexagon head for sealing the engine oil drain opening in the sump pan. This M14 x 1.5 drain plug is used during routine oil changes and is a direct replacement for worn, damaged, or rounded original plugs on a wide range of Volkswagen models.

The sump plug closes the drain hole at the bottom of the oil sump and keeps engine oil safely contained inside the engine between services. When removed, it allows the old oil to drain out during maintenance. Once refitted and tightened correctly, it seals the sump so the lubrication system can operate properly without leaks.
