Restore engine performance and reliability with this standard replacement connecting rod set, designed to fit all 1300cc to 1600cc VW Type 1 aircooled engines. This good quality set includes 4 con rods, each measuring 5.400″ in length, and is suitable for a complete engine rebuild.
Each rod is fitted with small end bushes, making them ready to pair with standard wrist pins and pistons. The big end bearings are sold separately, allowing you to choose the correct bearing size to match your crankshaft.
This con rod set is ideal for stock engine rebuilds, classic restorations, or mild performance upgrades. It’s compatible with a wide range of aircooled VW models using the Type 1 engine platform and offers a strong, dependable alternative to worn, stretched, or damaged original rods.
