ARP Moly Assembly Lube

High-grade moly engine assembly lubricant designed to protect critical engine components during engine assembly, initial start-up and camshaft break-in. Supplied in a convenient 1/4oz (7 gram) tube, this specialist lubricant is applied directly to bearings, camshafts, cam followers, lifters and other moving engine components during engine builds and rebuilds.

When a freshly assembled engine is first started, many internal parts operate briefly before full oil pressure reaches all bearing surfaces. This assembly lube provides an ultra high-pressure protective coating that prevents metal-to-metal contact during this critical run-in period.

The high molybdenum content offers exceptional load protection and adhesion, helping reduce premature wear on cam lobes, lifters, bearings and other high friction engine components. Particularly important for flat tappet aircooled VW engines where camshaft and lifter protection during break-in is essential.

Ideal for use during standard rebuilds, performance engine builds and race engine assembly on both aircooled and watercooled Volkswagen engines.
