009 Rotor Arm (Also Most VAG Models From 1968 Onwards)

This high-quality rotor arm is designed to suit Bosch and reproduction 009 mechanical advance distributors, as well as a wide range of VAG (Volkswagen Audi Group) distributors from the late 1960s through to the early 1990s. Suitable for 65mm diameter distributors, it provides reliable ignition performance across both aircooled and early watercooled VW models.

The rotor arm is a key ignition component, mounted on top of the distributor shaft. As it spins, it transfers high-voltage current from the ignition coil to each contact inside the distributor cap, directing the spark to the correct cylinder at precisely the right time. A worn or faulty rotor can lead to misfires, poor starting, rough running, or complete ignition failure.

Manufactured from durable materials with a high-quality conductive tip, this rotor ensures consistent spark delivery and long service life. It is ideal for both routine maintenance and full ignition system overhauls, especially when paired with a new distributor cap, leads, and spark plugs.

This rotor is specifically designed for distributors without a built-in rev limiter and will not fit certain 10mm spindle distributors (commonly found on some T25 models), so checking compatibility before installation is essential.
