T4,T5,T6 Crankshaft Seal

This crankshaft oil seal is designed to stop engine oil escaping where the crankshaft passes through the engine casing. It keeps oil inside the engine while allowing the crankshaft to rotate at high speed, helping maintain oil pressure and protecting the timing or clutch area from contamination. A worn seal can cause oil leaks, oil on the lower engine, clutch contamination on rear seal applications, or belt area oiling on front seal applications.

Made from PTFE / ACM, this seal is designed to cope with heat, crankshaft movement and constant oil exposure better than a basic rubber seal. Size: 35mm inner diameter, 48mm outer diameter, 10mm width.

It is good practice to inspect the crankshaft running surface, housing, pulley or flywheel bolts, and replace any gasket or housing sealant required during fitting. On some models a pulley bolt, housing gasket, sleeve or fitting tool may also be needed.
