Quarter Light Glass to Frame Seals

We take a closer look at these brand new pre-formed rubber quarter light glass to frame seals from BBT in Belgium.

Finally available are the correct seals that are located between the glass and the frame on VW Beetle front quarter lights.

This seal has been available for many years as a universal rubber under part number 221845295A.

From now on however we are now stocking the correct quarter light glass to frame seals that fit as they should. No special tools are required to install them. Just a little lubricant and they should just slide straight in.

Each seal as manufactured from a good quality pre-formed rubber that fits perfectly around the glass and then into the frame of the quarter light.

There are 2 versions available for the VW Beetle.

From October 1952 to July 1964 we stock part number 221845295ATQ

From August 1964 to the end of production (including Mexican Beetles) we stock part number 221845295BTQ

For Splitscreen Buses we also stock part number 211837271 which fits all models from December 1952 onwards.
