Beetle Narrowed Beam Bundle Kit - 1969-79 - LHD

2″ narrowed and adjustable front beam to fit left hand drive Beetles and Karmann Ghias from 1966 – 1979 that have ball joint suspension.

These beams are brand new, fitted with lowering adjusters welded in to give you up to 4″ of height adjustment

Fitment: Please note this is a bare beam that does not come with torsion leaves, if required see part number AC411131K. These also require a narrowed anti roll bar, see part number AC411650041

Fitting: If running at the lowest setting we recommend fitting uprated shorter gas shocks

Finish:  Please note that the finish on these beams is not show quality.  Often these beams are scratched and have paint chips due to storage and transport.  The paint finish on these is just a `storage` paint to help prevent rusting while in storage.  You will need to strip and paint if you require a better finish.

Manufactured from solid 3/4″ thick steel, this uprated anti-roll bar works by linking both front suspension arms together. As the vehicle corners, body roll transfers weight to the outside wheel—this bar resists that movement by transferring load across the axle, keeping the car flatter and improving tyre contact with the road. The result is sharper handling, improved grip and increased driver confidence, especially in fast corners.

Supplied with red urethane bushes, this kit offers improved durability over standard rubber while maintaining controlled compliance. Urethane reduces unwanted flex in the mounting points, allowing the anti-roll bar to react more precisely to suspension movement.

How It Works
