Chrome 75 AMP Alternator - Type 1 Engines

Heavy duty uprated 12 volt 75 amp chrome alternator for Volkswagen Type 1 aircooled engines. Designed with an internal voltage regulator for simplified wiring and improved charging performance over standard dynamo or lower output alternator systems.

This high output alternator is ideal for vehicles running additional electrical equipment such as powerful stereo systems, auxiliary lighting, electric fuel pumps or camper leisure battery systems. Particularly suited to camper vans and buses where increased charging capacity is required between stops to maintain both starter and leisure batteries.

Finished in polished chrome for a clean custom engine bay appearance, making it ideal for Cal-Look, show cars and detailed engine builds.

Suitable for all upright Type 1 aircooled engines already fitted with an alternator or converted from a generator/dynamo setup. Not suitable for Type 3 pancake engines.

When converting from an externally regulated charging system, wiring modifications will be required.
