Avoid cracked or shattered glass with these EMPI custom-designed door stops, made specifically for VW Beetles fitted with aftermarket 1-piece window conversions.
When using standard check straps with 1-piece windows, the glass can contact the strap when fully lowered, risking breakage. These EMPI door stops eliminate that problem by replacing the original door checks with a low-profile design that prevents window-glass contact while still limiting door swing.
The kit includes all necessary mounting hardware and is a must-have safety upgrade for any 1-piece window installation on classic Beetles.
