Beetle EMPI One Piece Window Scrapers - 1954-64

This complete scraper seal kit is designed for early VW Beetles fitted with one-piece windows, covering models from 1953 to 1964. Ideal for restorations or custom conversions, this kit provides everything needed to correctly seal and finish both doors after removing the original quarterlight window setup.

The inner and outer scrapers mount along the top edge of the door and are essential for wiping the glass clean and sealing the door against water and debris. As the window moves, the scrapers prevent dirt from entering the door cavity and protect internal components such as the regulator and mechanisms from corrosion and wear. Old or missing scrapers often lead to water leaks, rattling glass, and premature component failure.

This kit includes metal clip plates and fixing clips to ensure the scrapers are held securely in place along the door frame. For best results—especially around the curved ends of early Beetle doors—a small amount of Tiger Seal (or similar adhesive) is recommended to hold the scraper ends flush and prevent lifting.

Perfect for early Beetle one-piece window conversions, this kit restores a clean appearance and proper sealing. For a complete rebuild, it is highly recommended to install alongside new window felt channel guides to ensure smooth glass operation.
