Heavy-duty reinforced rear engine cage for Volkswagen Baja Bugs and Dune Buggies. Manufactured from strong 38mm heavy wall steel tubing, this rear cage is precision jig-welded to ensure an accurate fit whilst providing excellent protection for the engine and rear of the vehicle. Ideal for off-road use, it helps shield the engine and transmission from impacts whilst adding the classic Baja race-inspired appearance.
This reinforced version features additional cross braces across the rear and side sections, providing increased rigidity and extra protection over the standard single tube design. The cage bolts directly to the transmission mounts and upper rear shock absorber mounting bolts, making installation straightforward with no major modifications required. Supplied in a raw steel finish ready for painting or powder coating to suit your vehicle.
