Heavy-duty single tube rear cage designed for VW Baja Bugs, Beach Buggies, and Trike applications. Manufactured from strong 38mm (1 1/2″) heavy wall steel tubing and jig-welded for accurate fitment and improved strength.
This rear cage mounts to the transmission mounts and upper rear shock mounting bolts, creating a strong protective structure around the rear engine and exhaust area. Designed for off-road use, the cage helps protect the engine, exhaust, and rear bodywork from impact damage during trail driving and rough terrain use while also adding the classic Baja off-road appearance.
The heavy wall tubular construction offers excellent durability and rigidity, making it suitable for both recreational off-road vehicles and custom street Baja builds. Supplied in a bare mild steel finish ready for painting, powder coating, or custom finishing to suit your project.
Ideal for Baja Beetles, off-road Beetles, dune buggies, and VW trike conversions using Type 1 based chassis and rear suspension setups.
Supplied with fitting hardware for installation.
