The EMPI Single Quiet Pack is one of the most popular performance exhaust mufflers available for aircooled Volkswagens, offering improved exhaust flow while maintaining a more refined exhaust note than stinger-style systems. Designed as a replacement muffler for compatible 4 into 1 header systems, it provides an excellent balance between performance, drivability and everyday usability.

This version features the header flange positioned at the 1 o`clock position, making it specifically suited to Volkswagen Beetle applications where the muffler angle aligns correctly with the rear wing and bodywork. While it can be installed on other Type 1-based vehicles, the muffler may not sit perfectly parallel to the rear body panel due to differences in body shape and engine positioning.

Internally, the Single Quiet Pack design reduces exhaust restriction compared to stock systems, helping improve engine breathing and throttle response. It is suitable for standard engines as well as mild performance builds and works particularly well with merged headers and extractor-style exhaust systems.

Manufactured from mild steel and supplied with a protective transport coating, this muffler is ideal as a direct replacement for worn or damaged Quiet Pack units.

• The factory transport coating is designed as rust protection during storage and shipping.

Important: EMPI headers and mufflers are supplied with a protective paint coating which may burn off during initial heat cycles. For maximum longevity, remove the coating with a suitable solvent and refinish with a quality high-temperature exhaust paint before installation. Exhaust systems are not covered against corrosion or rust.
