Ceramic Coated EMPI 2 Tip GT Exhaust - Type 1 Engines (Not 1200cc)

Premium EMPI GT twin tip exhaust system with ceramic coating, offering the same classic European styling with enhanced durability and heat management. This version features twin chrome tailpipes exiting through the original rear valance cut-outs, maintaining the factory look while upgrading both performance and longevity.

Constructed from steel with 1 3/8″ (35mm) tubing, this exhaust improves exhaust gas flow compared to standard systems, helping the engine breathe more efficiently. The result is improved throttle response, smoother running, and a refined sporty exhaust note suitable for both daily driving and show vehicles.

The key upgrade is the ceramic coating, which provides superior heat resistance and corrosion protection compared to standard painted systems. This coating helps reduce surface temperatures, improves exhaust gas velocity, and significantly increases resistance to rust—making it ideal for long-term use and high-performance applications.

The system includes all necessary fitting hardware and flex hoses for installation and is designed as a direct replacement for Type 1 engines running standard heater box configurations.
