10mm Chromoly Head Stud Kit - Stroker Engines

Heavy duty chromoly cylinder head stud kit, manufactured 12.7mm longer than stock for use on stroker and performance VW Type 1 twin port engines running 10mm studs. Designed to handle increased engine width caused by stroker crankshafts, longer rods or cylinder spacers.

These studs are approximately 200% stronger than standard, preventing stretch and maintaining consistent clamping force under high compression and extreme temperatures. Ideal for performance builds where reliability is critical.

Cylinder head studs secure the cylinder heads to the crankcase, ensuring proper sealing between the heads and barrels. On stroker engines, additional length is required to accommodate the wider engine geometry. These extended studs provide the correct thread engagement and clamping strength needed for modified engines.

• 16 x Chromoly extended head studs (+12.7mm)
• Full set of hardened washers
• Full set of nuts

How It Works
The studs thread into the crankcase and clamp the cylinder heads down evenly when torqued. The increased length allows correct fitment on engines with wider deck height while maintaining strength and preventing stud failure under load.
