EMPI 1.25:1 Rocker Arm Assembly

EMPI superior quality forged chromoly high-ratio rocker arm set for VW Type 1 aircooled engines. Designed for everything from mild street performance engines through to serious competition applications.

These 1.25:1 ratio rocker arms increase valve lift compared to standard rockers, allowing improved cylinder head airflow and increased engine performance when used with compatible camshaft combinations. The higher ratio design helps the valves open further for improved breathing, making them ideal for upgraded engines.

Manufactured from forged chromoly steel, these rocker arms are precision ground and heat treated for exceptional strength and durability under high RPM and high valve spring pressures. Unlike older needle bearing style rockers, these use precision bronze bushes with through-hole lubrication to provide superior reliability and long service life.

The alloy adjuster screws are drilled internally to allow continuous oil flow through the rocker arms and adjusters, ensuring excellent lubrication throughout the valvetrain. High-strength alloy rocker shafts, blocks and shims are included, along with chromoly rocker studs for a complete installation package.

These rockers require cut-to-length pushrods so correct valvetrain geometry and pushrod length can be set depending on the camshaft and cylinder head combination being used.

Ideal for performance Beetles, Buggies, Bus engines and high-performance street or race builds.
