High performance lightweight racing flywheel manufactured from forged chromoly steel for maximum strength and durability under extreme operating conditions. Designed for aircooled Volkswagen engines using a 200mm clutch and 12 volt starter system.
Weighing approximately 6kg, this lightened flywheel reduces rotational mass compared to a standard stock flywheel. The lower rotating weight allows the engine to rev more freely, improving throttle response, acceleration, and engine responsiveness, making it ideal for performance street cars, race engines, drag racing, Baja Bugs, and fast road applications.
Manufactured with an 8 dowel mounting pattern for improved crankshaft to flywheel security. The additional dowel pins help prevent flywheel movement on high output engines where standard 4 dowel setups may fail.
The forged chromoly construction offers exceptional strength and resistance to cracking under high RPM and heavy clutch loads. Suitable for use with performance clutches and uprated engine builds.
Designed for 12 volt starter systems with 130 tooth ring gear.
