GTV-2 Cylinder Head - 90.5mm - Dual Spring (40mm Inlet Valves, 35.5mm Exhaust Valves)

High performance GTV-2 racing dual port cylinder head from EMPI, machined to accept 90.5mm or 92mm pistons and cylinders. Designed for larger capacity Type 1 engines such as 1776cc and 1835cc builds, these heads are ideal for serious fast road and racing applications.

The cylinder head plays a vital role in engine performance by controlling airflow into and out of the combustion chamber. With intake and exhaust ports approximately 20% larger than stock, these heads significantly improve airflow, increasing power, torque and throttle response. The larger bore machining allows fitment of bigger pistons and barrels, increasing engine displacement and overall output.

Fitted with 40mm stainless steel inlet valves and 35.5mm stainless steel exhaust valves, combined with dual valve springs, these heads are built to handle higher RPM and aggressive camshaft profiles. The dual spring setup reduces valve float and ensures consistent valve control under demanding conditions.
