Porsche Cayenne Water Pump (Auxuliary) - 2010-17 - 3.0

Maintain correct coolant circulation and protect critical engine components with this replacement auxiliary electric water pump for selected Porsche, Volkswagen and Skoda models. Designed for use within the cooling water circuit, this pump supports coolant flow through the turbocharger, heater system, hybrid cooling system and engine cooling circuits when additional coolant circulation is required.

Unlike the mechanically driven main coolant pump, the auxiliary pump operates electrically and can continue circulating coolant after engine shutdown. This helps reduce heat soak around turbochargers and hybrid components while improving overall cooling efficiency and engine temperature stability.

Failure of the auxiliary coolant pump can lead to overheating warnings, coolant circulation faults, reduced heater performance, fault codes, or excessive temperatures within the cooling system. Replacing a faulty pump helps restore correct coolant flow and protects expensive engine and hybrid system components.

This pump is fitted to selected high performance diesel, petrol and hybrid VW Group vehicles including Porsche Cayenne Hybrid, Touareg Hybrid, BiTDI applications and plug-in hybrid models.
