Type 25 Rear Brake Adjuster Bar - Right

This rear brake shoe adjusting bar is fitted to the right-hand rear drum brake assembly on Volkswagen Type 25 (T3) models. It is responsible for setting and maintaining the correct position of the brake shoes within the drum, ensuring efficient braking and even wear.

As part of the brake adjustment mechanism, the adjuster bar allows the shoes to be set at the correct clearance from the drum. This ensures consistent braking performance, proper handbrake function, and reduced pedal travel. Over time, adjusters can seize, corrode, or wear out, leading to poor brake performance or uneven braking. Replacing the adjuster restores correct function and reliability.

This version is manufactured with a left-hand thread, making it specific to the right-hand side of the vehicle. Correct pairing with the opposite side adjuster is essential for proper installation and operation.

Not suitable for Syncro models with factory 16″ wheels.
