Type 25 Number Plate Light Housing

This replacement number plate light housing is designed for all Volkswagen Type 25 (T25) Transporters and provides a clean, secure mounting point for the rear number plate illumination system. Mounted externally on the rear panel above the number plate rear inspection hatch, these housings are often exposed to the elements and commonly suffer from fading, cracking, or damage over time. Replacing worn or brittle housings restores both the appearance and the functionality of your vehicle’s lighting system, ensuring your number plate is properly illuminated and road legal.

Each housing is supplied individually and two are required per T25. The unit fits directly in place of the original part with no modification required. For the best “as-new” finish, we recommend replacing the number plate light lens at the same time — see part number 251943121.
