Replacement 25.4mm front right wheel brake cylinder for Volkswagen Splitscreen and early Baywindow buses fitted with drum brakes. This cylinder converts hydraulic brake pressure into mechanical movement, forcing the brake shoes against the drum to provide safe and reliable braking performance.
Old wheel cylinders commonly suffer from corrosion, leaking seals, sticking pistons, or contamination from old brake fluid. Replacing worn cylinders restores braking efficiency and helps prevent pulling, fluid leaks, and uneven brake operation.
This cylinder fits the right front wheel and two cylinders are required per right front wheel on applicable models. Manufactured to original specification for direct replacement installation.
