Splitscreen Bus Front Wheel Cylinder - 1964-67 (Also Baywindow Bus Front Wheel Cylinder - 1968-70) - Left Front Wheel

This front left-hand wheel cylinder is a high-quality reproduction replacement for Volkswagen Splitscreen Buses (1964–1967) and early Baywindow Buses (1968–1970). The wheel cylinder is a vital component of the braking system, converting hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder into mechanical force that pushes the brake shoes against the drum to slow the vehicle safely and evenly.

Each front brake drum uses two wheel cylinders, one on the top and one on the bottom, meaning two cylinders are required per wheel. This replacement unit is manufactured to OEM dimensions for accurate fit and performance, ensuring proper braking balance and reliability for classic VW applications.

Constructed from precision-cast materials with machined internals, this cylinder offers excellent durability and consistent hydraulic sealing. Please note, the bleed nipple is not included and must be ordered separately (see part number 443616789).
