High performance Wilwood DynaPro Single-VW (DPS-VW) billet front brake caliper kit for Volkswagen 4 stud disc brake models. Designed as a direct replacement and performance upgrade for original ATE 2 piston calipers fitted to late Beetles, Karmann Ghias and Type 3 models.
These lightweight billet aluminium calipers are engineered to provide superior braking performance, improved pedal feel and reduced unsprung weight compared to standard factory calipers. The DPS-VW design is one of Wilwood’s latest generation calipers, combining strength, durability and improved heat management for fast road, performance and competition use.
The calipers mount directly onto compatible disc brake spindles without the need for adaptors or spacers, making installation straightforward. They are also compatible with AC4060 and AC4061 dropped disc brake spindles.
Each kit includes a pair of red Wilwood calipers, brake pads, mounting bolts and washers. The calipers use Wilwood 6812 style pads which are widely available in various street, fast road and high temperature racing compounds.
Manufactured in the USA with billet aluminium construction and Mil-Spec hard anodising for excellent corrosion resistance and long service life.
