Fully welded cross shaft, ideal for both an upgrade on original and for high performance engines fitted into your early Beetle, Karmann Ghia and Type 3 from 1971 to 1972.
They are fully welded (360 degrees) around the arms to prevent breakage under high pressure.
These are located inside the bell house of your gearbox. The clutch release bearing fixes to the centre of it. It is operated by the clutch cable.
It is designed to be used with all later style clutch release bearings that have the integral clips.
