Oil Dipstick - Type 1 Engines

This standard replacement oil level dipstick is designed for all Volkswagen Type 1 aircooled engines from 1200cc through to 1600cc. It provides an accurate and reliable way to monitor engine oil level, helping protect your engine from damage caused by low or incorrect oil levels.

The dipstick sits in the engine case and is used to manually check oil level between services. It features clearly marked minimum and maximum indicators, allowing you to quickly confirm whether your engine has the correct amount of oil. Maintaining the proper oil level is essential on aircooled engines, as the oil not only lubricates internal components but also plays a key role in cooling.

Fitting & Installation Notes
