Chrome Rocker Covers - Type 1 Engines, Waterboxer Engines

Chrome plated rocker cover set, designed to fit a wide range of classic aircooled Volkswagen engines as well as later Waterboxer powered T25/T3 models. These covers not only restore proper sealing but also add a clean, polished engine bay appearance, making them ideal for both daily drivers and show vehicles.

The rocker cover (valve cover) encloses the rocker arms and valve gear, keeping engine oil contained while protecting internal components from dirt and contamination. When the engine is running, oil is circulated around the valve train, and the rocker cover ensures this oil remains sealed within the cylinder head area. Over time, original covers can warp or corrode, leading to oil leaks—replacing them with new chrome covers restores both function and appearance.

These covers are designed to work with standard retaining clips and rocker cover gaskets, ensuring a secure fit and reliable seal. The chrome finish also helps resist corrosion and provides a durable, long-lasting surface.
