T25 Manifold Upper Heat Shield

Upper exhaust manifold heat shield designed for Volkswagen T25/T3 models fitted with the 1.6 Turbo Diesel JX engine. This shielding plate mounts above the exhaust manifold to help deflect and contain radiant heat generated by the turbocharger and exhaust system, protecting surrounding engine bay components from excessive temperatures.

On turbo diesel engines, exhaust temperatures are significantly higher than naturally aspirated models. Without the correct heat shielding in place, excessive heat can affect hoses, wiring, intake components and engine bay insulation. This upper heat shield helps maintain safer operating temperatures while also reducing heat soak within the engine compartment.

Manufactured from durable zinc-plated steel for improved corrosion resistance and long service life, this heat shield is ideal for restoration work or replacing rusted or damaged original shielding.
