Crafter Turbo - 2016 Onwards - 2.0 TDI (Reconditioned)

Replacement reconditioned exhaust turbocharger for Volkswagen Crafter II and Crafter III models fitted with the 2.0 TDI diesel engine. Supplied complete with gasket and seal kit, this turbocharger is designed to restore original boost pressure, pulling power and fuel efficiency on vehicles suffering from turbocharger wear or failure.

The turbocharger uses exhaust gas energy to drive a turbine and compressor assembly, forcing additional air into the engine to improve combustion efficiency, torque delivery and diesel performance. The 2.0 TDI Crafter engine relies heavily on turbocharger operation to provide strong low-end torque for carrying heavy loads, motorway driving and commercial use.

Over time turbochargers can develop worn bearings, oil seal failure, boost leaks or actuator faults. Common symptoms include reduced power, excessive smoke, turbo whistle, limp mode activation, oil consumption or boost pressure related fault codes.

This generally overhauled turbocharger is supplied with fitting gaskets and seals to simplify installation and help ensure reliable sealing during fitment.
