Replacement exhaust turbocharger for Volkswagen models fitted with the 1.4 TSI petrol engine. Supplied complete with gasket and seal kit, this turbocharger is designed to restore correct boost pressure, engine efficiency and factory performance on vehicles suffering from worn or faulty turbochargers.
The turbocharger uses exhaust gas energy to drive a turbine and compressor assembly, forcing additional air into the engine to improve combustion efficiency, torque and power output. The 1.4 TSI engine relies heavily on precise turbo operation to provide strong low-end performance while maintaining excellent fuel economy and reduced emissions.
Over time turbochargers can suffer from bearing wear, boost leaks, oil seal failure or wastegate actuator faults. Common symptoms include reduced engine power, limp mode activation, excessive smoke, oil consumption, turbo whistle or boost pressure related fault codes.
This replacement unit is supplied with fitting gaskets and seals to simplify installation and help ensure reliable sealing during fitment.
