G7 Turbo - 2017-20 - 1.5 TSI (Reconditioned)

Replacement reconditioned exhaust turbocharger for selected Volkswagen models fitted with 1.5 TSI EVO and later 1.4 TSI petrol engines. Supplied complete with gasket and seal kit, this turbocharger is designed to restore original boost pressure, engine performance and fuel efficiency on vehicles suffering from worn or faulty turbo units.

The turbocharger uses exhaust gas energy to drive a turbine and compressor assembly which forces additional air into the engine. This allows smaller capacity TSI engines to produce increased power and torque while maintaining good fuel economy and reduced emissions.

Over time turbochargers can develop bearing wear, oil seal failure, boost pressure leaks or electronic actuator faults. Common symptoms include loss of power, limp mode activation, excessive exhaust smoke, oil consumption, whining noises or engine management warnings.
