This turbocharger is designed for the EA211 generation 1.4 TSI engine and restores factory boost pressure, throttle response and fuel efficiency. The turbocharger uses exhaust gas energy to spin a turbine which compresses incoming air, allowing the engine to produce greater power and torque from a compact fuel-efficient engine.

Over time, turbochargers can fail due to oil contamination, worn bearings, sticking actuators, boost leaks or excessive heat cycles. Common symptoms include lack of power, turbo noise, smoke from the exhaust, poor fuel economy and engine management warning lights.
