6R Polo Water Pump - 2009-22 - 1.4 TDI

Replacement mechanical engine cooling water pump for Volkswagen Group 1.4 TDI diesel engines. Designed for timing belt driven applications, this pump circulates coolant through the engine, radiator and heater system to maintain correct operating temperature and prevent overheating.

The water pump is a vital part of the cooling system, driven directly by the timing belt on these engines. As the impeller rotates, coolant is circulated throughout the engine block and cylinder head, helping remove excess heat and maintain stable engine temperatures under all driving conditions.

Over time, water pumps can suffer from bearing wear, coolant leaks or impeller damage, leading to overheating, coolant loss or timing belt contamination. Because this pump is timing belt driven, it is strongly recommended to replace the water pump whenever the timing belt is changed to reduce future labour costs and prevent premature failures.
