Replacement rear exhaust muffler for Volkswagen fuel injected classic Beetles fitted with fuel injection but without a catalytic converter. This exhaust is specifically designed for USA specification Type 1 fuel injected models.
This muffler is the correct design for vehicles without a catalytic converter and should not be used on Mexican or Californian models, which use different emissions equipment and exhaust layouts.
Manufactured from steel with a protective painted finish, this muffler is a direct replacement for the original unit and ensures correct fitment with the factory fuel injection and emissions system.
