041 Twin Port Cylinder Head - 1600cc (Bare Head, No Valves) - EMPI

EMPI 041 dual port cylinder head supplied as a bare casting for Volkswagen 1600cc Type 1 engines. Based on the popular 041 design, this head offers improved airflow potential over many standard castings while retaining stock-style fitment, making it an excellent choice for engine rebuilds, restorations and mild performance applications.

Supplied bare without valves, springs or retainers, allowing you to build the cylinder head to your own specification. The casting is machined for standard 85.5mm pistons, making it suitable for a wide range of engine combinations.

Designed for use with 14mm x ½” reach spark plugs and fitted with standard-sized valves, making it ideal for stock and mildly tuned engines.
