041 Twin Port Cylinder Head - 1600cc (Bare Head, No Valves) - Autolinea

High-performance AUTOLINEA 041 dual port cylinder head supplied as a bare casting for aircooled Volkswagen Type 1 engines. This version is designed for larger 40mm inlet valves and 35.5mm exhaust valves, making it an excellent foundation for performance street, touring and mild competition engine builds.

Unlike standard replacement heads, this 041 casting features a larger cylinder register and smaller 12mm spark plug thread, allowing improved combustion chamber design and increased material around the spark plug area. The head is machined for dual port manifolds and accepts larger valves, providing significantly improved airflow potential over standard 1600 cylinder heads.

Supplied bare without valves, springs, retainers or guides installed, allowing the engine builder to assemble the head to suit their exact specification.
