G6 Turbo - 2009-12 - 2.0 TDI

Replacement exhaust turbocharger for Volkswagen 2.0 TDI diesel engines fitted to Golf Mk6, Jetta Mk3, Passat B6, Passat CC, Scirocco Mk3 and Tiguan 5N models. Supplied complete with gasket and seal kit, this turbocharger is designed to restore factory boost pressure, engine performance and fuel economy on worn or failing diesel turbo systems.

The turbocharger uses exhaust gas energy to spin a turbine wheel which compresses incoming air before it enters the engine. This allows the 2.0 TDI engine to produce strong low-end torque, improved acceleration and greater fuel efficiency while maintaining lower emissions.

Over time, turbochargers can fail due to carbon build-up, oil contamination, worn bearings or sticking variable vane mechanisms. Common symptoms include loss of boost pressure, excessive smoke, limp mode, turbo whistle, overboost or underboost faults and reduced fuel economy.

This replacement turbocharger is supplied with fitting gaskets and seals to assist installation and help ensure reliable sealing.

Function:
