T25,T4,G1 Engine Block Cover Gasket

Replacement seal for the engine block cover used across a wide range of classic Volkswagen diesel and early petrol engines. This seal helps prevent oil leaks, dirt ingress and loss of crankcase sealing around the engine block cover assembly.

Over time, original seals become brittle, flattened or damaged due to engine heat and oil exposure. Replacing the seal helps maintain correct sealing between the engine block cover and mating surfaces, reducing oil seepage and helping keep the engine bay clean.

Suitable for numerous VW Transporter, Golf, Jetta, Passat, Polo, LT and related diesel engine applications, including naturally aspirated and turbo diesel engines. Also fits selected early petrol Transporter and LT models.

When fitting, the mating surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned and inspected for corrosion or damage before installation. It is recommended to check associated covers, breather components and retaining hardware at the same time.
