This stainless steel exhaust centre pipe is designed to fit before the rear muffler on all Volkswagen Type 25 / T3 SYNCRO models built from 1986 to 1992, fitted with 1900cc DF or DG and 2100cc DJ Waterboxer petrol engines.

SYNCRO models use a unique four-wheel-drive drivetrain, which requires a different exhaust routing compared to standard two-wheel-drive T3s. This centre exhaust pipe is manufactured to the correct SYNCRO-specific shape, ensuring proper clearance around the propshaft, rear differential, and drivetrain components while maintaining the correct exhaust path into the rear silencer.

Fitted in the centre position of the exhaust system, this pipe transfers exhaust gases smoothly from the forward exhaust section into the rear muffler.
