This replacement exhaust centre pipe is specifically designed to fit before the rear muffler on Volkswagen Type 25 / T3 SYNCRO models manufactured from 1986 to 1992, fitted with 1900cc DF or DG and 2100cc DJ Waterboxer petrol engines.

Due to the unique drivetrain layout of the SYNCRO system, the exhaust routing differs significantly from standard two-wheel-drive T3 models. This centre exhaust pipe is formed to the correct SYNCRO-specific shape, ensuring proper clearance around the propshaft, rear differential, and drivetrain components while maintaining correct exhaust flow into the rear silencer.
