Baywindow Bus Side Marker Bundle Kit (Silver Trim) - 1971-79

Amber front side marker lens with silver surround for US specification Volkswagen Baywindow buses from 1971 to 1979. This marker is fitted to the front side of the vehicle and can be used on either the left or right side.

Originally fitted to USA market Baywindow models, the side marker improves side visibility by showing the vehicle’s position to other road users, especially in low light or when parked at the roadside. It is also a useful styling detail for customers building a US spec look on non-USA buses.

The amber/yellow lens is finished with a silver edge to match the original style appearance. It can also be fitted to earlier or non-US specification Baywindow models, although drilling and additional fitting work will be required if the vehicle was not factory fitted with side markers.

Replacement plastic mounting base for front side marker lights fitted to Volkswagen Baywindow buses. Designed to mount behind the side marker lens, this base secures the marker assembly to the bodywork and provides the correct mounting position for the side marker light unit.

Suitable for use with both black surround and silver surround amber front side marker lenses fitted to US specification Baywindow models from 1971 onwards. Also suitable for custom installations on non-US specification buses where side markers are being added.

Manufactured from durable moulded plastic to resist moisture, vibration, and weather exposure. Ideal for replacing cracked, damaged, or missing original bases during restoration or repair work.

This base is used in conjunction with the side marker lens and fixing screws, which are sold separately.

Replacement red rear side marker lens with silver surround for US specification VW Baywindow buses from 1971 to 1979. Originally fitted to the rear quarter side marker lights on North American specification vehicles.

The side marker lens helps improve vehicle visibility from the side and rear during low light conditions while also protecting the bulb holder from water and dirt ingress. Ideal for replacing faded, cracked or damaged original lenses during restoration work or general maintenance.

Although originally fitted to US specification Baywindow models, these can also be retro-fitted to other Baywindow vans and campers. Vehicles not originally equipped with side markers will require drilling and wiring modifications during installation.
