This 10mm bolt is 20mm long and has a 1.5mm thread pitch.  It is used for various applications including:

• Beetle spring plate cover to chassis bolt
• Baywindow Bus (68-72) bumper iron to chassis bolt
• Splitscreen Bus torsion bar cover bolt

These adjustable spring plates can be mounted onto all Beetles from 1948 to 1952.

Note on the Finish

The finish is black zinc passivate.

This is a rust preventative finish which is ideal as a paint undercoat.

Fitted as is they will corrode eventually going a powder white colour, which is the zinc corroding and is to be expected.
