This upgraded turbo inlet replaces the restrictive factory inlet assembly with a high-flow 3-inch inlet pipe and silicone hose, allowing the turbocharger to draw air more efficiently.
The factory turbo inlet elbow is typically smaller in diameter and can create airflow turbulence before the turbo compressor. This MST system replaces the OEM 2.75″ turbo elbow with a larger 3″ inlet design, helping improve airflow capacity and turbocharger response.
Constructed from durable aluminium with CNC-machined flanges, the inlet pipe provides a strong, precise fit while supporting improved airflow for both standard and tuned engines.
The turbo inlet sits between the intake system and the turbocharger compressor housing. Air must pass through this section before entering the turbo.
The factory inlet pipe can restrict airflow due to its smaller diameter and internal design. The MST turbo inlet improves airflow by:
