G7 MST Closed Pod Induction Kit - 1.2 TSI, 1.4 TSI

Improve airflow and turbo response with this MST Performance closed pod induction kit designed for Volkswagen Audi Group vehicles equipped with the EA211 1.2 TSI and 1.4 TSI / TFSI engines. This system replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a high-flow intake system that allows the turbocharger to draw air more efficiently.

The kit features a large 4-inch silicone intake pipe and high-flow nanofibre filter, allowing smoother airflow into the turbocharger. Dyno testing has shown potential gains of around 5–7bhp, depending on vehicle condition and modifications.

The closed pod heat shield design helps direct cooler air into the filter while shielding it from engine bay heat, improving airflow consistency.

What This Kit Does & How It Works

Factory intake systems are designed primarily for quiet operation and emissions control, which can restrict airflow to the turbocharger.

This MST performance intake replaces the standard airbox with a high-flow red pleated nanofibre filter and a 4″ silicone intake pipe. The smoother intake path reduces turbulence and restriction, allowing the turbocharger to spool more efficiently and improving engine response.

The enclosed heat shield housing isolates the intake from engine heat while helping channel cooler air from the factory intake ducting toward the filter.
