G7 MST Performance Induction Kit - 2.0 TDI (GTD)

Improve airflow, throttle response and turbo efficiency with this MST Performance induction kit designed for MQB platform vehicles equipped with the 2.0 TDI diesel engine. This intake system replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a high-flow nanofibre filter and performance intake components, allowing the turbocharger to draw air more efficiently.

The system features a large surface-area dry pleated filter and a heat shield assembly to help direct cooler air toward the intake. Dyno testing has shown potential gains of up to 12–14bhp, depending on vehicle condition and modifications.

What This Kit Does & How It Works

Factory intake systems are designed primarily to reduce engine noise and meet emissions requirements. To achieve this, the standard airbox uses restrictive ducting and sound-dampening chambers that limit airflow before it reaches the turbocharger.

This MST Performance intake replaces the factory airbox with a large high-flow nanofibre filter and optimised intake path, allowing a greater volume of air to reach the turbocharger. This helps the turbo spool more efficiently and maintain airflow under load.

The included black powder-coated heat shield helps isolate the intake from engine bay heat while guiding cooler air into the system. The kit can also be configured in two different ways:

• Open-air configuration – maximum airflow and stronger induction sound

• Enclosed configuration – reduced intake noise while maintaining improved airflow
