G6 MST Performance Induction Kit - 2.0 TSI (GTi)

Increase airflow, turbo response and induction sound with this MST Performance induction kit designed for Volkswagen Audi Group vehicles equipped with 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TSI EA888 engines. This kit replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a large-diameter intake pipe and high-flow nanofibre filter, allowing the turbocharger to breathe more efficiently.

Designed as a direct-fit upgrade, the intake system significantly improves airflow while maintaining excellent filtration. Dyno testing has shown potential gains of up to 20–22bhp, depending on vehicle condition and modifications.

What This Kit Does & How It Works

The factory intake system uses a sealed airbox designed primarily for quiet operation and emissions compliance. Internal baffling and narrow intake pipework can restrict airflow before it reaches the turbocharger.

This MST Performance intake replaces the factory airbox with a large 4-inch intake pipe and high-flow dry nanofibre filter, increasing the volume of air available to the turbocharger. The smoother airflow path reduces turbulence and intake restriction, allowing the turbocharger to spool more efficiently and maintain airflow under higher boost levels.

The black powder-coated heat shield helps isolate the intake filter from hot engine bay air while directing cooler air into the intake system.
