G5,G6 MST Performance Induction Kit - 1.2 TSI, 1.4 TSI (Single Turbo)

Improve airflow, throttle response and turbo induction sound with this MST Performance induction kit designed for Volkswagen Group vehicles fitted with EA111 1.2 TSI and 1.4 TSI single turbo engines. This system replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a high-flow pleated filter and performance intake pipework to allow the turbocharger to breathe more efficiently.

Designed as a direct-fit upgrade, the kit improves airflow while maintaining excellent filtration. Dyno testing has shown potential gains of up to 12–14bhp, depending on vehicle condition and modifications.

What This Kit Does & How It Works

The factory air intake system is designed to minimise engine noise and meet emissions requirements. To achieve this, the standard airbox uses internal chambers and narrow intake ducting which restrict airflow before it reaches the turbocharger.

This MST Performance intake replaces the restrictive airbox with a high-flow dry nanofibre filter and smooth intake pipework, allowing a larger volume of air to reach the turbocharger. With less restriction and smoother airflow, the turbo can spool more efficiently, improving throttle response and producing a stronger induction sound.

The black powder-coated heat shield helps isolate the filter from hot engine bay air while directing cooler air toward the intake system.
