G5 MST Performance Induction Kit - 3.2 V6 (R32)

Improve airflow, throttle response and induction sound with this MST Performance induction kit designed for Volkswagen Group vehicles fitted with the 3.2 litre VR6 engine. This kit replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a large-diameter intake pipe and high-flow nanofibre filter to allow the engine to breathe more freely.

By increasing airflow and reducing intake restriction, this system helps the engine draw in air more efficiently across the rev range. Dyno testing has shown potential gains of up to 12–14bhp, depending on vehicle condition and modifications.

What This Kit Does & How It Works

The factory intake system uses a sealed airbox designed primarily for quiet operation and emissions compliance. Internal baffling and narrow ducting can restrict airflow entering the engine.

This MST system replaces the restrictive airbox with a large 4-inch intake pipe and high-flow nanofibre dry filter, increasing the volume of air available to the engine. The mandrel-bent 6061 aluminium intake pipe provides a smooth internal airflow path that reduces turbulence and restriction.

The included black powder-coated heat shield helps isolate the intake filter from hot engine bay air, allowing cooler air to reach the intake system and improving airflow efficiency.
