Improve airflow, turbo response and induction sound with this MST Performance induction kit designed for the turbocharged engines used in the Porsche 718 Boxster and Cayman range. This kit replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a high-flow twin-filter intake system and upgraded intake pipework, allowing the turbocharger to breathe more efficiently.

Engineered for both standard and tuned vehicles, this intake system provides smoother airflow, reduced intake restriction and a more aggressive turbo induction sound. Dyno testing has shown potential gains of up to 12–14bhp, depending on vehicle condition and modifications.

What This Kit Does & How It Works

The factory intake system on the 718 platform uses a sealed airbox designed primarily for refinement and emissions compliance. Internal chambers and restrictive pipework can limit airflow to the turbocharger.

This MST system replaces the factory airbox with twin high-flow pleated nanofibre filters and upgraded intake pipework, allowing a greater volume of air to reach the turbo. The improved airflow path reduces turbulence and restriction, helping the turbocharger spool more efficiently.

The black powder-coated heat shield helps isolate the intake from engine bay heat while directing cooler air into the system. Combined with the included charge pipe and turbo pipe upgrades, the airflow path becomes smoother and more direct for improved performance.
